Can't find yourself
A hole to look through
Dullness and ignorance
Prejudice and pride
Constraining the mind
Just as long as you
Lack sustenance
Of the spiritual kind
Are you the victim
And if so,
Who are the perpetrators
If not yourself
who then will jugde them
To satisfy the law
Is it good thinking
Or do you suffer
Mental derangement
How can one
Separate enlightenment
From just burning straw

It's kind of symbolic
In the scholarly idyll
They largely call it metaphor
You are engaged within a certain spirit
You can't change it like a shirt
You're up to get some carefree living
You dig for diamonds in the dirt
All those rhetorical figures cofuse me
I don't know what I'm meant to belive
Hazy expressions swirl around loosely
Synapses blocked incapable to receive
Anything
You strive to build a castle on a steep rock
You end up with a house of cards
You mistake love for simple pleasure
Your way is paved with broken hearts

They say great hunters don't die in their beds

We misjudge the height 'cause they're wearing hats
The given goal in every game
Arrive on destination
Some certain melodies
Lure us away
Into the wilderness
To let us breathe and set us free
We live a dreamy piece
A passion play
What lies beyond our guess
We'll have to wait it out and see
The tyranny of the dying
Feeds the empathy of the sensitive ones
Wracks the empathy of the terrified ones
